Lidl is continuing to take steps in its national expansion, solely focused on its commercial spaces. The supermarket firm closed 2022 with 41 new stores and a dozen store modernisations, in which it invested 260 million euros and 30 million euros, respectively. That activity translated into the creation of 810 new jobs.
The new Lidl stores are located in 13 different autonomous regions with the aim of increasing the brand’s capillarity across the country and boosting its business in a sustained and sustainable way. The firm invested 260 million euros in its 41 new stores, creating 760 jobs.
