The property developer Kronos Homes is investing in the Madrilenian town of Villanueva de la Cañada with the acquisition of buildable land. Specifically, it has purchased around 85,000 square metres in Los Pocillos where 500 houses will be built, according to the company, which has become one of the largest landowners in the area.
The Los Pocillos sector, which is located to the north of Villanueva de la Cañada, between the M-600 and Avenidas de España and La Dehesa, is included in the General Urban Development Plan for the town. The residential project, which was designed in 2014, allows for the construction of 2,030 single-family homes and 945 multi-family homes, with 447 of the latter being protected dwellings.
