Investment in the Barcelona office market amounted to €206 million euros during the first quarter of 2020, which represents an increase of 42% compared to the same period a year earlier and the second-best first quarter in twelve years, according to data from CBRE.
“This is a positive figure that reflects the strength with which we entered 2020”, says Xavier Güell, Director of Capital Markets at CBRE in Barcelona, who anticipates that during the second quarter “the figures will decrease due to the slowdown in activity caused by the Covid-19 epidemic ”.
