The logistics real estate market in Spain closed 2020 with a volume of investment in logistics projects amounting to more than 970 million euros, according to the consultancy and valuation firm Gloval. That figure does not include projects pending delivery, which would take the total above 1 billion euros.
Despite the uncertainty generated by the pandemic, the leasing of logistics assets actually increased last year and their value was maintained and not revised downwards. In short, the good performance that began in 2019 continued during 2020. In 2019, investment in logistics assets reached a record figure of 1.78 billion euros.
