Investment in Asset Leasing Decreased by 20% Until July

Operations involving movable assets fell by 43% whilst operations involving immovable assets decreased by 20.4%.

According to data from the Spanish Leasing and Renting Association (AELR), Spanish companies invested 475.1 million euros in immovable asset leasing during the first seven months of 2020, down by 20.4% compared to the same period last year.

In the global calculation, Spanish companies invested 3,209 million euros in leasing to finance movable and immovable assets during the first seven months of 2020, a figure that is 40.5% lower than the same period last year, according to data from the Spanish Association of Leasing and Renting (AELR).
