The Xanadú shopping centre may change hands in just a couple of weeks, after one of its owners, Intu Properties, which holds 50% of the asset together with the Nuveen group, filed for bankruptcy in June.
Xanadú is Intu’s last property in Spain (it also owns the Intu Costa del Sol commercial project in Torremolinos) following the sale of its other commercial complexes, Puerto Venecia and Intu Asturias, a few months ago.
