Inditex Vacates Dozens of Stores on Spain’s Main High Streets, Which Are Now Looking for New Tenants

The textile giant is going to close 79 stores across the country between now and April, including a few on the most sought-after retail streets in Spain, namely: Gran Vía and Paseo de Gracia.

Months after Inditex’s announcement that it is going to close 300 stores across Spain between 2020 and 2021, the location of those closures is gradually being revealed.

Specifically, the textile giant has revealed the location of 79 stores that it is going to close, some of which are situated on prime retail thoroughfares such as Madrid’s Gran Vía; Barcelona’s Paseo de Gracia and La Marina de Puerto Banús. Moreover, it is also going to vacate premises on the main streets of numerous secondary cities such as Valladolid, Cádiz and Oviedo, according to Moda.es.
