The real estate portal Idealista has acquired a stake in its Catalan counterpart Yaencontré, owned by the Grupo Godó. The percentage of capital acquired and the amount paid has not been revealed under the terms of the agreement between the two companies.
Both Idealista and Yaencontré claim that they will continue to work separately stating “there will be no merging of the teams, but rather each company will continue with their business strategy independently.” The companies also highlighted that they “will be sharing best practices with each other.”
