The Hyatt hotel chain is planning to open the iconic Byblos Hotel, in the Málagan town of Mijas, in 2022 on a franchise basis following its purchase by the fund Intriva Capital.
The Byblos Hotel opened for the first time in 1986 but has been closed since 2010. The hotel company had been planning to make the 205-room accommodation operational in 2021, but, in the end, it will open at the beginning of 2022, according to Desarrollo Hotelero.
