2021 was a record year for the residential sector with 545,000 house purchases in total, a figure not seen since 2008.
Property developers such as Aedas Homes are forecasting a positive 2022, as outlined by its CEO, David Martínez: “In 2022, we expect to see moderate and sustainable growth in terms of the demand for new housing. On the contrary, the supply is still very limited, which could slightly force up prices”.
