The number of housing sales in Spain increased in July this year by 53.5% compared to the same month in 2020, according to Spain’s Association of Registrars.
Specifically, there were 47,563 sales in 2021, up from 30,993 in July of last year, an increase of more than 16,500.
Compared to July 2019, before the coronavirus changed the face of the world, housing sales rose by 3.3% (46,062 transactions).
It is worth noting that May saw the highest increase, 108.4% for housing sales and purchases, slowing down from June (76.7%).
