Covid 19 and its economic consequences are continuing to generate changes in business forecasts. Total house sales could fall by around 20%-25% in 2020, according to the “Residential Market in Spain in 2020” report prepared by the consultancy CBRE.

For Samuel Población, National Director of Residential Products and Land at CBRE Spain, “the economic uncertainty that has been lurking since March 2020, due to the impact of the Covid-19 health crisis, could generate a decrease in transactions volumes of around 20%-25% compared to the previous year (when considering new-build and second-hand properties) to around 450,000-425,000 homes”.
