The real estate market has regained some momentum as we head into 2021, according to the indicators and in the absence of data from December. In this way, 39,653 homes were sold in November, 5.4% more than in October and 1.9% more in year-on-year terms, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
According to the INE, that figure represents the highest number of operations since February and the third-best figure for 2020. Second-hand homes once again led the number of transactions: with the sale of 31,906 second-hand homes, 6.7% than in October and 2.2% more in year-on-year terms.
