
During the fourth quarter of 2020, 17,513 homes were purchased in Cataluña, representing an increase of 15.3% compared to the previous quarter and a decrease of 4.5% in interannual terms, according to data shared exclusively by the College of Registrars with the Association of Real Estate Agents of Cataluña (AIC) and the Official College of Real Estate Agents (COAPI) of Barcelona
According to COAPI, this improvement compared to the third quarter was due to the good performance of the new-build home market, which saw an increase in sales of 5.3%, as well as of the second-hand home market, which saw sales rise by 17.5%.
