In October, 35,268 home sales were registered in the Property Registry, down by 13.4% compared to the same month in 2019, which represented a much higher decrease than in September (-0.7%).
However, the fall was a far cry from the significant reductions that were recorded at the beginning of the pandemic (-53% in May), according to the real estate registry statistics published by the College of Registrars.
