Instituto de Valoraciones expects house prices to continue rising, but in a more stable way, with increases of around 4%, according to the forecasts from its real estate big data software.
The appraisal company believes that the real estate market is stabilising and maturing, although it considers that this is going to be a “slow” process, taking into account the data from 2019.
In this way, it points out that 568,180 homes were sold in Spain last year, which represented a decrease of 3% compared with the same period a year earlier. Taking into account the type of housing, new build properties showed signs of growth, since the highest number of new home permits since 2015 was recorded in 2019.
