House prices shot up by 8.4% in December 2022 compared to the last month of the previous year, as reported by the real estate valuation company Tinsa on Monday.
Specifically, house prices increased by 10.9% year-on-year in the metropolitan areas, and by 8.5% in Spain’s provincial capitals and large cities. Meanwhile, in other municipalities, prices increased by 7.3%; on the Mediterranean coast, they were up by 5.2%; and on the islands, they rose by 2.2%.
