House Prices Rose by 3.2% During Q1, the Smallest Increase Since 2015

The price of new-build homes increased by 6.1%, up by eight tenths compared to the previous quarter, whilst the price of second-hand homes increased by 2.7%, down by seven tenths.

House prices in Spain are beginning to show signs that they are reaching their peak, especially in second-hand market, as we wait to see the impact of the Covid-19 crisis on the sector.

According to statistics published on Tuesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), house prices in Spain registered a year-on-year rise of 3.2% during the first quarter of 2020, the smallest increase since the beginning of 2015.
