House Prices Grew By 1.1% to June Despite Covid, According to ST

The average price of new and second-hand housing in Spain stood at €1,681/m2 at the end of June 2020, with an increase of 2.7% compared to the same month in 2019, according to the latest edition of the Real Estate Sector Trends Report published by Sociedad de Tasación (ST).

If we analyse the monthly variation, which has been more impacted by the effects of the pandemic, then we see that the price variation for the first half of 2020 stood at 1.1%. In this way, the rate of growth has moderated for the third consecutive year.
