The price of second-hand housing fell by 1.7% year-on-year in October and rose by 0.8% compared to the previous month. As a result, the average house price amounted to 1,859 euros per square metre, according to Fotocasa.
“The price of second-hand housing is continuing to experience slight year-on-year declines, which first began last December. These price drops were already a natural trend that was expected in 2020 and it is still too early to tell whether the crisis caused by the coronavirus is causing prices to fall further, explained Anaïs López, Fotocasa’s Communications Director.
