
The downward trend in house prices slowed in December, following the falls registered in September and November. The average house price did not vary in interannual terms during the last month of the year, but it did fall by 2.1% compared to pre-Covid times, according to Tinsa.
According to the appraisal firm’s Director of Research Services, Rafael Gil, “the figures at the end of the year show a stabilisation of the downward trend, approaching the levels seen in the summer in the case of the general index and the index corresponding to provincial capitals and large cities, after additional decreases during the autumn”.
