The tourist activity indicators for April published by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) on Friday were replete with zeros, a historical statistic due to the health pandemic.
The mandatory closure of hotels since 26 March due to the State of Emergency means that the data for April detailing the number of establishments open, beds offered, rooms available, travellers welcomed and overnight stays made were zero throughout the country.
