In 2020, the hotel sector registered total investment of 1.21 billion euros, which represents a decrease of 25% compared to the previous year. And that figure accounted for just 13% of the total investment in real estate assets in general during the same period.
Despite this drop in the volume of investment, the consulting firm BNP Paribas is certain that the hotel sector will continue to maintain its share of the market in Spain established over the last two years and to be attractive despite the current economic uncertainty.
