Hotel investment amounted to 3.279 billion euros last year, representing an increase of 3.1% compared to 2021, according to data from the Hotel Investment Report in Spain prepared by the consultancy firm Colliers. The figure represents the third best year in the historical series.
In total, 133 hotels and 17,754 rooms were transacted during 2022, compared to 127 hotels and 19,043 rooms the previous year. In addition, another 30 assets were transacted involving land for development and real estate for conversion.
