Hotel Investment Amounts to €900 Million, Whereby Returning to its Levels of 7 Years Ago

Last year, the hotel sector recorded a total volume of investments that was comparable with 2013, down by 62% compared to 2019, according to the consultancy Christie & Co.

In its analysis of hotel investment, the consultancy Christie & Co refers to 2020 as a year “marked by the unprecedented crisis that has so cruelly punished our sector.”

In this sense, the consulting firm, which celebrated its twentieth-anniversary last year, reported a total volume of investment in the hotel sector of around 900 million euros, comparable to the figure registered in 2013. That represents a drop of 62% compared to the 2,375 million euros recorded in 2019.
