Hotel chains are asking the government to establish a moratorium on their rental payments, since the almost complete shutdown of their activity as a result of the coronavirus health crisis, is preventing them from making those payments.
The hotel companies are proposing that the Executive supports the sector in the same way as it has done for residential mortgage and rental payments, by regulating a moratorium for the payment of hotel rents, one of its main recurring expenses, through a Royal Decree Law.
