Hospital Clínic in Barcelona and Leitat are joining forces to create a centre dedicated to innovation within the field of health technology. And they will do so in the parish of Sant Isidor, in the Ensanche neighbourhood, after agreeing with the Archbishop to a transfer of surface rights for 75 years.

The project has been baptised as the ‘Clinical Advanced Technologies Institute’ (CATI) and will also involve the participation of the University of Barcelona (UB), the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona (HSJD) and IDIBAPS. Its main objectives are to promote technological and transferable knowledge in health technology and to link that with the industrial sector.
