The property developer Habitat, controlled by the fund Bain Capital, is going to develop
a new project comprising more than 100 homes, which will require investment of more than €24 million. The complex is going to be built on a plot acquired by the company which spans 4,700 m2 and has a buildable surface area 10,400 m2 in the neighbourhood of El Cañaveral, located in the southeast of Madrid.
This new development means that the company now has two developments in the El Cañaveral neighbourhood, Habitat Nuevo Cañaveral and Habitat Paseo del Cañaveral, comprising nearly 300 homes in total. “This new plot proves our commitment to the neighbourhood and to the Community of Madrid, where we plan to build nearly 1,000 homes in total split across ten developments, including this one,” stated José Carlos Saz, CEO of Habitat Inmobiliaria.
