The Zaurak Madrid residential complex, which is going to be developed under a cooperative regime and managed by the Ibosa group, has signed the deeds for the land on which the residential project is going to be built. The plot is located in the Madrid Rio area of the capital in the area known as Mahou-Calderón.
Specifically, the cooperative created by Ibosa has purchased one of the two plots that Mahou put up for sale on the site of its former brewery. To date, the Zaurak Residential complex is the only cooperative development to be built in the Mahou Calderón area, say its managers. Investors such as Azora and CBRE Global Investors have also bought land in the area, and are going to develop up to 373 homes in total in alliance with Gestilar. In addition, Pryconsa and the Socimi Vivenio have purchased land in the neighbourhood for the development of various housing projects, for rental in the case of the latter.
