According to the President of the Board, Javier Rodríguez Heredia, “the Mahou-Calderón project, with an investment of more than 220 million euros in urbanisation and building work, will mean the generation of more than 5,000 jobs in Madrid, and the creation of a green residential area in the heart of the city, an example of unique, sustainable development from which all the people of Madrid will benefit.”
The board has given work on the construction of the developments with the earthworks and foundations, which will take place in parallel with the project’s already advanced urbanisation, the green light to begin. At the same time, the area has more than 14,000 m2 for tertiary use, guaranteeing the necessary commercial facilities.
