Goldman Sachs and MV Credit have finalised refinancing Tinsa with a €300 million credit agreement. According to Expansión, this refinanced debt was subscribed in 2016 for 140 million euros and matures in 2022.
Goldman Sachs has assumed the bulk of the financing. MV Credit will contribute just 12% of the total (€36 million).
The company’s owner, Cinven, demanded the revision to the loan. The private equity fund, faced with the impossibility of selling the company, will share 150 million euros of the refinancing as payment for the investment made in the company. In addition, Tinsa obtained a €65-million credit line for acquisitions, in addition to €50 million.
