Fearless Despite the Crisis: Property Developers Start Work on More than 27,000 New Homes Since April

Between April and August, work began on a total of 996 developments and 27,882 homes in Spain, according to data from the real estate big data platform Brains RE, with Amenabar, Habitat and Aedas the most active players.

The property development business, like most sectors of the Spanish economy, has been affected by the crisis resulting from Covid-19.

However, many property developers have chosen to push ahead with their new projects regardless, with work beginning on almost a thousand developments and 28,000 homes in the last five months since the outbreak of the pandemic, according to data from the real estate big data platform Brains RE.
