FCC, through its real estate subsidiary, has submitted the necessary documentation to the CNMV for the regulator to authorize its takeover of 24% of Metrovacesa.
On 23 March, the company controlled by the Mexican businessman Carlos Slim launched a takeover bid, through FCC Inmobiliaria, for 24% of the residential property developer Metrovacesa, controlled by Santander and BBVA. At that stage, FCC already owned 5.4% of the share capital.
