The electrical appliance distribution chain, Grupo Eldisser, has finalised a deal to acquire more than 16,000 m2 of industrial-logistical land in the province of Burgos, specifically in the strategic location of the Villalonquejar Industrial Park.
Eldisser’s acquisition is intended to improve its distribution capability in the north of Spain, taking advantage of a strategic location that takes advantage of both the East-West transits through the northern half of the peninsula and connects the north of Spain and Europe through France. Seven Autonomous Communities are located within a radius of 250km of the Industrial Park, which account for 35% of Spain’s GDP and 30% of its population.
The Villalonquéjar Industrial Park already has three large, fully consolidated areas, with more than 600 companies from various sectors, including the automotive, agri-food, chemical, metal and rubber processing industries, which, together with other types of activities, employ more than 12,000 people.
At present, phase IV, with a net area of 1,200,000 m2, where the future Eldisser platform will be located, is fully developed and available for occupation.
