El Corte Inglés Puts Two of its Stores in the Puerta del Sol (Madrid) Up For Sale

The assets, which are adjacent to its Preciados department store, are going on the market for between 150 and 200 million euros.

El Corte Inglés is divesting real estate. The company led by Marta Ortega has put up for sale two commercial assets in Madrid’s Puerta del Sol for around 150-200 million euros, according to El Confidencial.

Specifically, the first store is located on Puerta del Sol 10. Currently, it houses a sports store belonging to the group and a restaurant owned by the chef Chicote. The property spans 4,853 square meters for hotel and commercial use.
