El Corte Inglés is divesting assets. The company led by Marta Ortega has announced that it will be closing its Serrano 52 store from 1 August and that it is putting two of its establishments, in Sevilla and Córdoba, up for sale, according to the newspaper El Confidencial.
The store located in the historic Serrano 52 building, which specialises in fashion and accessories for men, will close its doors after seven years of operations. The retail group opened that store, dedicated to men’s fashion, in 2015 as part of its renewal strategy.
