
It’s been less than a year since the office building located at number 2 Avinguda de Josep Tarradellas, in Barcelona was put up for sale for around 110 million euros. And DWS, Deutsche Bank’s investment manager, has just sold it to Franklin Real Asset Advisors, which has acquired it on behalf of Franklin Templeton’s social infrastructure strategy.
The building currently houses the headquarters of the Generalitat de Catalunya’s Department of Land and Sustainability and spans 17,500 square metres. The sales price has not been disclosed, but reports in Expansión and El Periódico de España cite a consideration of between 95 and 100 million euros.
