DWS, the manager controlled by Deutsche Bank, has signed an agreement with the property developer Gestilar to build 1,000 “build to rent” homes in Madrid. DWS Real Estate will invest 240 million euros in this operation, as confirmed by both companies speaking to various media outlets.
The homes will be developed on land located in Getafe and the Ensanche de Vallecas, which the developer bought from Mapfre. Specifically, Gestilar will build the houses and then sell them onto funds managed by DWS.
