The average price of housing in Spain will fall by between 8% and 10% in 2020 due to the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, according to a study by the real estate website donpiso, which also predicts a year-on-year fall of up to 25% in the number home sales in the country by the end of the year.
According to the real estate group, the decline in demand will mainly affect the medium-low price segment. Likewise, second homes and holiday homes are also suffering from a notable drop in demand, with a significant drop in international investment in the Spanish residential market.
