CPI Acquires a ‘Resort for Seniors’ in Alicante for €35 Million

The publicly traded fund Care Property Invest has acquired the 229-flat residential complex focused on elderly clients and hotel services.

Care Property Invest (CPI) has acquired a residential complex for senior citizens in Alicante for 35 million euros. The resort, which Forum de Inversiones Inmobiliarias Mare Nostrum sold, has been in operation for the last 20 years. Savills Aguirre Newman and Cushman & Wakefield advised on the transaction.

The development has 229 flats and numerous associated services: garages, storage rooms, gardens, swimming pools, social club, spa, gym, heated pool, two restaurants, bar, theatre, library, art studio and events venue.

Care Property Invest is listed on Euronext Brussels. It invests in real estate for the elderly in the European market and has a portfolio of 129 healthcare projects in Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain.
