The average revenue per available room (RevPAR) fell by 27% in Spain and by 27.5% in Portugal during the three months to March, according to the Hotel Sector Barometer prepared by STR and Cushman & Wakefield.

The results of the Barometer show that in January and February the Spanish hotel market started the year with positive indicators in all destinations, revealing that the scene was set for a good season.
