The Covid crisis has somewhat changed the preferences of home buyers. In this way, during the fourth quarter of 2020, the sale of homes in multi-family buildings accounted for 77.5% of the total, whilst the sale of single-family homes accounted for 22.5%, according to data from the College of Registrars.
As such, house sales recorded an increase of 2.1 percentage points compared to the previous quarter, which represents a new maximum in the historical series since 2005 and, in turn, a historical minimum in terms of the sale of flats.
