In December, Los Berrocales Compensation Board awarded the 35-million-euro contract for the urbanisation of the new neighbourhood to FCC. Work will begin imminently.
In this way, work is going to begin on the asphalting and lighting in the area closest to La Gavia, in the Ensanche de Vallecas, where the first 4,500 homes, of the 22,000 planned in total, are going to be built, according to El Mundo. The urbanisation work should take 20 months.
