Construction Costs Soar by 30% in Three Years

Construction costs are one of the black beasts of the sector: since 2016 they have increased by 30%, which represents three years of continuous rises equivalent to growth (CAGR) of 9.23% per year.

The firm Uve Evaluations has compiled a report based on the daily Project Monitoring activity, which reflects, amongst other data, an increase in construction costs, one of the black beasts of the sector, which has been denounced by the trade association, APCE. The rising costs are causing continuous tension in terms of the prices of materials and delivery, in addition to the costs of labour.

This report, to which has had access, reveals a reality that currently characterises the residential sector: since 2016 construction costs have increased by 30%; three years of continuous growth, equivalent to a CAGR of 9.23% per year.
