The socimi Colonial is negotiating to acquire a new office asset in Barcelona. It is the property at 21 Buenos Aires Street, owned by the real estate company Anpora. According to EjePrime, the transaction could be closed for 50 million euros. The complex has 9,000 square metres and houses the headquarters of the food company Danone.
The real estate company Anpora is owned by Ricardo Portabella, who is also one of the shareholders of Danone’s Spanish division, although he recently sold his stake. In November, Portabella’s holding company bought the Hotel Alexandra in Barcelona for 32.5 million euros.
According to Brains Real Estate’s Big Data platform, it costs on average 13.1 euros per square metre per month to rent an office in the Nova Esquerra de L’Eixample neighbourhood.
