It is a business that moved 1 billion euros in 2021 and its annual growth rate over the coming years is expected to exceed 20%. The business is that of data centres, and CBRE and AQ Compute, the Data Center business owned by Aquila Capital, want to take advantage of the huge potential that this segment has in Europe (and in Spain, in particular).
For now, the consulting firm and the German sustainable asset investment and development company have reached an agreement to draw up a European Data Center strategy. The first project will be developed in Barcelona with a capacity of 50MW.
