In the first semester of 2020, there were more than 40 complaints per day regarding illegal occupations in Spain, totalling 7,450 complaints, according to data from the Ministry of the Interior.
In the first six months of this year, the government of Catalonia received 3,611 complaints of illegal occupations, making it the most affected region of Spain, with 600 illegal occupations per month, or 20 per day, according to an article in La Vanguardia.
