Madrid will have to wait a few more months for the opening of the seventh tallest building in the city. Caleido, the skyscraper measuring more than 180 metres high, is set to complete the Paseo de la Castellana financial area, known until now as the Four Towers complex.
Originally conceived by Madrid City Council as a large international convention centre, the previous crisis halted the municipality’s plans and, even though work had already started on the project, the site was awarded to the Villar Mir group at the end of 2014.
