Blackstone to Manage a Portfolio of 2,000 Homes from Bankia Through Anticipa

Blackstone manages the mortgages and doubtful loans that it acquires from Spanish banks through Anticipa, however, this is the first time that it will do so for third parties.

The bank has hired the servicer Anticipa to manage a portfolio of 2,000 mortgages and homes. This is the first time that the US giant’s subsidiary will provide services to an entity other than Blackstone, according to the newspaper Vozpópuli.

In recent years, Blackstone has managed mortgages and doubtful loans acquired from Spanish banks through Anticipa, but that firm has never worked for third parties until now.
