Blackstone, through its hotel investment platform HIP, has completed the acquisition of the Hotel METT Marbella Estepona from the Socimi Silicius. HIP has hereby purchased its third complex on the Costa del Sol, where it already owns the Guadalmina Spa & Golf Resort and the Barceló Marbella.
The latest acquisition, which is located on Guadalmansa beach, is going to be renovated and upgraded from a four-star to a five-star property. Following that repositioning, the asset will have 253 rooms. The operator of the hotel complex is going to be Sunset Hospitality Group under the METT brand.
